E had her 4 month checkup this morning. All went well and she made it through more poking and prodding. The big question is whether or not the staff will be able to focus the rest of the day after seeing SUCH an adorable baby. Ha.
Today, the pediatrician asked me if I am scared to get pregnant again. HA!! (because of all the craziness that has happened to e: infection after delivery, jaundice, hip dysplasia, and hydrocephalus). He assured me that it was all a freak stroke of (bad)luck and not to worry.
It's a good question. I'll answer it:
1) my butt is terrified
2) my haterunningbutcurrentlyrunningtogetbackinshape self is terrified
3) my wallet is terrified
but me? Nope, I'm not scared. I LOVE being a mom....and if my subsequent children bring just a percent of the joy that e brings me, I may be at risk of bursting.
